Fume cupboards & wet benches

Beckox fabricates bespoke fume cupboards and wet-process benches in polypropylene and PVC — built to the exact footprint, services and airflow of your laboratory or production room, and installed complete with extraction.

Built to the room, not from a catalogue

Standard laboratory furniture rarely survives serious acid work, and rarely fits a production process exactly. A fabricated cupboard or bench is drawn around your process: sink positions, drainage falls, service penetrations, sash arrangement and internal baffling all go where the work needs them. Polypropylene construction is unaffected by the acids and solvents that lift laminates and corrode steel-framed furniture.

Wet benches for production

For etching, cleaning and surface-preparation work we build wet benches with integral tanks, drip trays, extraction slots and interlocked services — as single stations or complete process rows. Benches are plumbed and dry-fitted in the workshop before delivery.

Wet benches for electronics and precision manufacturing

Wet process in electronics, optics and connector manufacture asks more of a bench than general laboratory work does: cascade rinse arrangements, DI water compatibility, temperature-controlled process tanks, close-fitting extraction that will not disturb the work, and materials that will not shed particles or contaminate a sensitive process. Polypropylene benches are the standard answer, and because ours are fabricated rather than assembled from modules, station spacing and tank sizes follow your process sequence exactly.

Beckox has fabricated for manufacturers in the electronics and connector industries — the client list on our industries page includes several. Benches can be built as single stations or as a complete process row with rinses, drying and transfer between them.
