Bespoke equipment
The jobs that fit no category are the ones a fabricator exists for. Beckox designs and builds one-off plastic equipment from a drawing, a sample, or a problem described over the phone — if it can be drawn in thermoplastic sheet, it can usually be welded.
From problem to working equipment
Much of what leaves our works was never in any catalogue: guards and covers for corrosive environments, trays and trolleys for awkward components, dosing cabinets, sample points, weirs, floats, machine parts re-made in plastic to end a corrosion problem. Some arrive as engineering drawings; many arrive as a worn-out original or a sketch on a delivery note. Both work.
Four decades of one-off work means the design questions get asked early: what chemistry, what temperature, what load, how will it be cleaned, what does it connect to. The answers decide material, wall thickness and stiffening before anything is cut.
- One-offs from drawings, samples or site measurement
- Repairs and modifications to existing plastic equipment
- Small-batch production once a design is proven
- Material selection guidance for the duty
